How I Handle Pricing
My pricing is based on the type of work that needs to be done and the condition of the yard. For regular lawn mowing, I usually charge a flat rate depending on the size of the property and how often it is maintained. Smaller, well-kept lawns are quicker and easier, while larger or overgrown yards take more time and effort. I try to keep my pricing fair and consistent for my regular customers. Every yard is a little different. I look at each job individually before deciding on a price.
For bigger jobs like spring and fall cleanups, I often charge hourly because the amount of work can vary a lot. Some properties may only need light cleanup, while others require picking up a large amount of sticks, leaves, and debris. Things like overgrown grass, extra trimming, or difficult areas can also affect how long the job takes. I try to be upfront about pricing so customers know what to expect. I always aim to keep my rates reasonable while still reflecting the effort put into each job. My goal is to provide good quality work at a fair price.
